Nina Nails

Gorgeous salon, but even better service and pricing! I’ve been to several salons in the area over the years and Nina Nails wins! The staff are super friendly and everybody there has been doing nails for eons - the salon has been there since the early 1990s, started by a dad and 2 daughters. Today, out of 6 sisters, you can consistently find 4 of them in the salon almost daily and a 5th sister occasionally. Many of the staff have been there almost since the salon originally opened! It TRULY is a Family Biz and so much Love there! (They even still all try to get together weekly for dinner!!) 💕

But beyond that, my NAILS look fantastic!! Other salons refuse to file them to the cuticle, so they grow out and have that thick “ledge”!! Not this salon! They KNOW! They also LISTEN to your requests! Want them thinner? Just say so! It’s ok! They DO communicate with each other in their family language (they still have cousins and extended fam in Vietnam) but I promise you that they’re not talking behind your back! I KNOW this family! They’re usually reminding each other of maybe how they had to redo someone’s nails one time BECAUSE she didn’t tell them exactly what she wanted before-hand. Or maybe the older ones are chiding the younger technicians. Or that they hope they don’t get a bad review because of miscommunication!!

As I said earlier, I’ve gone to other salons (when my tech wasn’t available and I decided to stray, etc.), but DANG! I ALWAYS come back to Nina Nails! It’s tucked away off Chamblee Dunwoody at Mount Vernon on the right side in the Publix Shopping Center, next to Cinnaholic.

They are good at getting the job done but some of the staff isn't very friendly and there prices are kind of high.
