        The Department of Juvenile Justice provides supervision, detention and a range of treatment and educational services for youths referred by juvenile courts. It also offers habilitation assistance and delinquency prevention services in collaboration with various public, private and community entities, as well as families, schools, law enforcement agencies, judges and service providers. The department operates several long-term rehabilitation facilities. The Department of Juvenile Justice also operates the Division of Administrative Services and the Division of Community Services and Intake. The department maintains a staff of over 4,500 employees. Its Division of Programs & Secure Campuses provides behavioral health, educational, health care, medical and nutritional services.
