Sinusitis
One in ten patients with severe asthma could experience allergic reactions after taking an NSAID medication. There is a 40% increase in the possibility of being allergic to Aspirin and NSAID medications if the patient whose asthma is accompanied by chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps.
Ear Infections
Ear infections usually involve a build-up of fluid and inflammation behind the eardrum. These infections are common in children, and may go away after a few days. However, recurrent infections could indicate an undiagnosed allergy. Pollen, mold, dust and other allergens could be causing infections that require pediatric ENT treatment to prevent a recurring pattern.

Imaging – Using an MRI or CT scan can show details of your sinuses. These medical images can pinpoint any deep inflammation or obstructions that can be difficult to detect with a nasal endoscopy.

Eczema
If a patient has severe eczema, the skin allergy test cannot be used. The doctor may suggest an IgE blood test. It is possible that false-positive results will occur with both skin and blood tests. Test results can confirm test results and should be done in a medical setting in the case of a severe reaction. Food tests should never be done at home.
