Highland Tap

I love the old school vibe and clubby atmosphere of Highland Tap and it's even better in the years since they went smoke free. Their dining room is great when you're looking for a quiet meal. Burgers and steaks are excellent and their salad with warm bacon dressing is to die for. And then they've got the bar area which is a little bit 70s dive bar but always offers great service, plenty of TVs and helpful staff to keep you happy for hours on end.

Have taken business clients to the basement at Highland Tap. They enjoyed the atmosphere and the food.

Spent a lot of fun nights in the bar downstairs. It's close quarters but always a good time.

Best Martinis and steak in town! If your in Atlanta its a must.

I can remember in days gone by sitting at the bar at 11AM on Saturday with face painted for a noon Georgia Tech Basketball game vs the terrapins, tar heels, or blue devils. I can remember the Trinity: Bud Light, Manhattan and a Bloody Mary. (I can't remember finishing a second trinity) I can remember wasting away hot and rainy Atlanta days in the cozy, dark cellar bar, and loving the fact cell phones don't work there very well. Service is top rate, drinks are fantastic, and did I mention the menu? Its a steak house even a vegetarian can enjoy and its not too snobby nor too pricey, just dang good. Of course, it a tavern too in the middle of the bitchinest neighborhood east of Schollywood , so check it out.
