At first I thought Barrie Alexander was likable but I noticed after visits with her my children were moody and upset. My daughter, who was 8 years old at the time, later told me that Barrie explained to her that she doesn't need me (her mom). Of course, I don't know if she really said that, but isn't it enough that my daughter interpreted it that way? My son never really told me anything but he also HATED going to see her and for a long time afterward my children begged me not to even drive past the road where she works! That is kind of hard since her location is right off Briarcliff Road and the 85 access! Sometimes I would have to pass by that road and my children would become visibly upset and anxious. I suppose I would advise anyone to go elsewhere as children are such an honest barometer of people and events and my children obviously had a terrible experience with her.

I would not recommend Barrie Alexander. My child was worse after seeing Barrie; I wish I had never used her and stopped the sessions sooner. Barrie is only after the money and often put me against my ex. I found her to be dishonest and her advise is awful. Stay away from Barrie. There are much better psychologist whom are willing to help.
