I just took my dog there for the first time and it's the best grooming job he has ever had (10 year-old shih tzu). I'll be back!

Connie has been our dog groomer for over thirty years and we have always been pleased with her work and expertise.

I had just adopted my dog and brought him into the Astoria Grooming, they were wonderful and careful with him. I do not know who gave them a bad review, but they are wrong including description of the inside of the business. I recommend them highly.

We are very pleased with the work and caring that they have for our animals. We want our pets to be treated like the family members that they are, and Connie does and excellent job. We wouldn't think of going anywhere else. She does such a good job on our little boy dog. Thanks Connie, your the best!!!!

I have a 4 1/2 year old Pomeranian who is used to regular groomings at Bark in Style in Seattle or The Pet Stops Here in Bellevue, WA. When I moved to the area, I was reluctant to bring my Pom to Astoria Grooming due to the poor reviews... but I decided to give it a try.



I walked in and peeked around the corner to see the owner shaving the daylights out of a small dog. When we spoke, she was very crass! I am immediately informed that the last person to groom my Pom did a "crappy job" and with pointed sarcasm says, "Let me guess, PetCo?" She picks through Ollie's fur with an exaggerated look of contempt -- then informs me that she is going to have to shave him. This is exactly what I've read about this place -- shave, shave, shave. I told her no... and she suggested I go somewhere else. Apparently they don't do brush outs here!



I will take my business elsewhere and suggest you, reader, do the same!

As a new resident of Astoria, I was worried about finding a groomer that would be as good as the one that I had gone to for the past 17 years in CA. Now I can relax, because Connie is a delight, and my two Toy Pom's were in very good hands. They even came home with pretty pink bows behind their ears - so cute! I would gladly recommend Astoria Grooming to anyone who is looking for a master groomer - she loves doggies and knows her stuff! :-)
