I have taken my cats and dogs to this vet for over 7 years. Have always seen male vet. The vet and staff are knowledgeable and caring. They have always gone above and beyond to help myself and our pets. The prices are affordable, they have been there for me in emergencies also . They have appointments and walk-in hours that working people can always get their pet in. It may not be a pretty office/clinic. But it is clean, and this helps keep prices down. I politely disagree with the negative review I read. My pets don't care what the office looks like. We care about the service, prices, and that they have always done an excellent job with my pets Imy daughter and I had a kitten that got hit by a bus, was in bad shape, the vet came in early before work hours, to kindly euthanize my kitten - very necessary as spine was severed. I am very thankful for this office and vet and staff, - tina stout

The Doc and his daughter and entire staff really know their stuff, they are kind and compassionate and personally comforted me through a difficult time when my Keekers had cancer and i lost her, the doc has a passion unparalleled to any other i know of the special love any animal deserves, i wouldn't go anywhere else, thank you for the wonderful care you provide and the knowledge you have...

Open hours, you may wait awhile but I hate having to wait for appointments! My Dane has terrible allergies, after I tried everything the vet suggested including meds, we opted for allergy testing. Turns out she's allergic to EVERYTHING!! Vet called me at home with allergy results, and actually talked to me like a person. He gave me suggestions and options. We have always taken our animals here (for over 20 years) Never had an issue. Always great service. Always great prices. I believe the vets and personnel really care for the animals. Just ask a few of them how many animals they have...Yes the building is old, it needs some cosmetic stuff done to it, but really what's more important service and price or how the building looks? Overall great service, will continue to bring all my animals here.

I have never seen a place in worse shape. Waited over an hour to get shots for my dog,but only 1 other person in front of us. Woman vet ( Christine) did not even say hello or really anything. Woman at desk never got paperwork I was promised and have called back 3 times and still don't have it. They have screwed up so many time in the 5 years I used them, I am done. And the office and vet rooms are horrible. Everything is rusty and dirty. My barns are cleaner and in better shape. Farm calls are more than vet in adjoinging county but only 3 miles away. Called once for an emergency and was hung up on. They are cheaper then other local Ashland vets but so are every other vet outside of Ashland. I now go to Mansfield and Wooster for my dogs and horses. I would rather drive 5-10 miles more than expose mine to this. Worst is they screw up a blood test reading and it could have gone very badly. Too many mistakes and a dirty, RUSTY office. Looks like a flood came through there and flat out dirty. Bad vetting and service costs more in the long run. Rude vet for how much money we have spent and all of their screw ups. Have not dealt with the male vet here. .

This is the best most affordable vet clinic in Ashland Ohio. The vets are both very helpful and if they do not have the equipment needed to do something then they will refer you to someone who does. When I boarded my animals there they were well taken care of and that is something that is very important to me.
