Overall

It has been brought to my attention through a great deal of research ; That an industry exists within the law enforcement communities that is a scourge on the American public stricken with the disease diabetes , Diabetes is an ongoing problem in the respect the breathalysers ability to distinguish what type of alcohol is in the system [acetone] is a form of alcohol diabetics secrete when in hyper or hypoglycemia therefor all diabetics are subject to drunk driving laws not to mention when having an episode display behavior very similar to those of a person who has been drinking excessively and may even be so disoriented that the approach of a stranger such as an officer in or out of uniform may be deemed a threat and possible bodily harm, robbery, E.T.C... could result in said confrontation and the person may appear violent when in fact they think they are at threat.

Many such instances have occurred however the true nature of the situation have been hidden or left uninvestigated by law enforcement agencies for fear of reprisal, Furthermore several deaths have also been a result of above said situations and been merely hidden once again and the reports to main stream media act only as a cover up and the people as you well know swallow anything and everything you tell them like tripe.

The facts are in and very disturbing I myself am a victim of said false D.W.I. and have been convicted and since I live 24 miles from the nearest town to do my monthly shopping I have been forced to give away my truck to a charity for I can no longer even afford the insurance therefor my life as I know it is done, Facts you may ask?,well Ill break it down with the information I have acquired and attach as many medical backed articles as I am able to find.

Ignoring for the moment the inherent inaccuracy of these breath alcohol machines, most suffer from a little-known design defect: they do not actually measure alcohol. Rather, they use infrared beams of light which are absorbed by any chemical compound in the breath sample (including ethyl alcohol) which contains the "methyl group" in its molecular structure; the more absorption, the higher the blood-alcohol reading. The machine is programmed to assume that the compound is "probably" alcohol. Unfortunately, thousands of compounds containing the methyl group can register as alcohol. One of these is acetone. And a well-documented by-product of hypoglycemia is a state called ketoacidosis, which causes the production of acetones in the breath. In other words, the Breathalyzer will read significant levels of alcohol on a diabetic's breath where there may be little or none.
