Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

The management at Cheddars on little rd have once again failed to use professionalism and good judgment when dealing with paying patrons. I had an unpleasant experience with a male bartender that overlooked my to go order while walking away from the bar where I was waiting to pay, and proceed to help two other dine in customers. Not to mention after ignoring me twice he took a call in order making me wait more. I went to get a manager and explained to her the scenario and nothing was done other than her taking my payment then walking away. I decided to overlook the experience, since I understand that you kind of get what you pay for, until I observed the management be very rude to a customer. The reasoning was the person had too much to drink and wanted to buy drinks for others at the bar. Whatever the drink limit policy they have is fine, however How things are done is sometimes just as important as why. I never talk about a problem without a possible solution- since change starts at leadership I would suggest customer service and diversity training for the management and staff.

Waiter was very unattentative. Had small children climbing on the bench behind me, when I spoke to the parent about in nicely. The waiter apologized to the parent for me saying anything to them.

The hostess spent more time listening to what I was talking to my husband about, than trying to find us a table. we were the only ones at the front waiting....... going on 15 minutes now...still waiting

Never in all the years I have been going to this Cheddar's has the food and service been so poor. The food and drinks arrived in a timely manner and that is why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1... The Med/rare steak was more like med/well, tough and grizzly, broccoli cheese rice was cold and dry and so were the fried onions. It seemed like they were both sitting out for quite a while. I asked for a check and laid my credit card on the table. The server promptly picked it up and said she would be right back. I expected her to bring my my bill which I never got. Ten minutes later she did come back saying their computer was down. After a bit longer, I asked to talk to a manager..never happened. The server finally came back with a manual chargee slip, showed me where I could leave the tip and left. Really???? This was my favorite restaurant but I am not sure anymore. I rarely will complain but I took my out of town friend there for a birthday lunch and was actually embarrassed. Is this the new norm????

My experience at this particualr cheddars was one not to have been forgotten, the manager who happened to wait on us was extremely rude and lacked any type of social skill. He carried a rude tone and was very impatient. I wouldn't be surprised if he was caught tampering with customers food. I do not understand people who go into this particular buisness with no social and or people skills. If you wish to experience a good time with hospitable staff I would reccomend going to the cheddars located of I-20 W. and carrier. Have never had a horrible experience such as this one at that location.

The Chicken Strips are the best in town. Prices exceptional
