Catfish Sams

My family including my 9 yr old adopted child and my 9 grands ages 19 to 25 love this place it is the best. Whenever friends are visiting from Houston and Galveston they always ask to go. It is truly the only place I know to eat good seafood, excellent service and it is family friendly. Service is way up there on my list!

This place has some pretty good food. I like to bring people from out of town here. Love the catfish and okra! It's a little far from where I stay but its worth the drive. Recommend.

We go to Catfish Sam's when we want some good fried catfish. Homestyle menu...great food!

We lived in Arlington for 18 years before discovering Catfish Sam's but have since tried to make up for the oversight! ..... the food is delicious - with the same kind of tasty, hot hush puppies we remember from the very old Dallas Zuider Zee's restaurant - every entree we have tried is well cooked, seasoned and then served quickly and graciously by staff that seems to enjoy taking care of the customers! Lunch time is also great, quick when you need to get in and out, slower when you are visiting with friends - never pushy, and the ROLLS are simply SCRUMPTIOUS!! They can accomodate large or small groups, and are just as courteous with everyone!

My family has been going to Catfish Sam's forever. The staff is always pleasant ,friendly ,accommodating and attentive. The catfish is without a doubt the best I've ever eaten. Always hot with a fried-just-right crispy crust. The sides ares great too- beans ,slaw and hush puppies so delicious they nearly make you cry ! Better get there early though- Friday and Saturday night always finds lines going out the door .

This place has the best fried catfish in town, not to mention the great sides including tomato relish!
