7-15-15 my daughter and I decided to try a salon in our new area we moved to. My daughter and I both went for fill ins. after they looked at my daughters nails they suggested only a color change. ( her nails only 1.5 weeks along) (mine 2.5) already knew that I would need fill ins and one replacement. proceeding on she tried to tell me I needed a new set..I know my nails (having been a Lic. nail tech for 25 + years) said no just a fill in and replacement. she then again said you sure no new set.. I told her if you are not comfortable doing my nails I will pay fro whats done and go elsewhere.(should have) she said no i can do your nails and then started to very roughly chip away at my edges gritting teeth and all. already thinking if I should stay or not trying to give the benefit of the doubt continued to stay.. and then the drill came out and started okay but then was drilling into my own nail bed to the point of burning me and alot of pain. i asked her twice to becareful it was hurting she kept saying she going to fix nails..at that point the next burn I said please let me pay for what we have done and I will go. she kept saying no i do nails to which i replied no i would like to go now and please let me pay for what we have had done. another lady said no let me get I think she said Anna..(?) and I said no thank you I'm leaving...I am a nail tech and I know what is to be done and what is not supposed to be done or hurt. which I then looked at my daughters color change and it was horrible..bubbled polished the ends looked like they slapped it on and left it globbed. I was very upset at that time but still willing to pay for what I had done. they proceeded to charge me $8.00 for my daughters color change and $8.00 for basically ruining a 2.5 week set of nails... after we left my daughter called back just to see what they charge for a color change and they told her $5.00 hmmm....where did the $8.00 come in??...I'm sure they have very many happy customers and in due time may try again to be fair it could have been a one time incident ..but only if you want to wait while a couple ladies finish there phone calls or have your tech sit down in front of you to do your nails and then spend the first 10 minutes playing with her phone would i recommend this place.
