Horrible attitude. Called in, didn't even listen to what I'm saying. RUDE people all around. This place should be out of business

I volunteer at St. E's and I must say, I am honored to do so. The staff is amazing and I can say every single one of them really tries to make the patient feel at home :)

I went to the er because of severe back pain. They decided to admit me into the hospital. In the er they did a MRI and XRay and said I need to have tests done to see if it is a kidney stone. After I got admitted Dr. J (that is what he said he goes by) came and saw me. He was such a jerk. I figured I would give him the benefit of the doubt. He ended up consulting a neurosurgeon, treating MD for a UTI (which he apparently knew I did not have) and did a bone scan. He never tested me for a kidney stone even though every other Dr said he should!!!! The next night he came into my room and told me there was nothing wrong with me. He accused me of being there just to get drugs. I asked him to please discharge me. He said fine. 2 hours later we asked the nurse where the discharge papers were. She had no idea what I was talking about. I eventually got discharged. When I was leaving s nurse and her boss came in and apologized for his behavior and felt horrible. The next day I went to another hospital... within 30 min they found a kidney stone and a burst cyst. I will NEVER go to St Elizabeth's again and will advise everyone to go elsewhere! I have every intent on getting a lawyer!

Honestly the day nurses are excellent, but the nurse by the name of Abby is absolutely rude. She has no sense of courtesy nor is she respectful at all. I asked her for a cot and instead of explaining how the room is too small and they're unable to roll one in due to safety hazard; she explained as if I don't understand English and started getting frustrated just because I I didn't know my dad had tried it with another nurse the previous night. Afterwards I catch her talking with another nurse, explaining how I asked for a cot and she talked as if she was so annoyed. Base off this one nurse I wouldn't recommend this hospital for anyone.
