Small town ice cream shop - awesome!

The Ice Cream Shop has been a favorite stop for the last 5+ years. It's located right on the main street (N Salem St) in the heart of downtown Apex. They offer Hershey's ice cream in hand drawn scoops, cup or cone, plus the usual milkshakes, sundaes, splits, etc. They also recently started offering various coffees, though I'm not a coffee drinker. This is classic small-town Americana. Even in this economy, you can't beat a cold ice cream on a hot Carolina afternoon. Even sweeter when I have my kids along with me. Service has always been friendly and fast. Excellent!
