Laser Advantage of East County is located in Antioch and appears to be the only game in town for laser hair removal. The pros of this business are: convenient location on Lone Tree Way, the R.N. in charge of hair removal is very thorough in explaining the process and takes her time with each client, they have great specials and hair removing packages. The cons would be: laser hair removal is not always permanent (and you are told that up-front), it can be a painful procedure, several appointments are needed to see any noticable hair loss, the R.N. in charge of hair removal has never been on time for any of my appointments. The final con regarding the R.N. never being on time...All of my appointments were morning appointments and evidently I was the first client of the day. I was on time for all seven of my appointments. The R.N. walked in ten minutes late and then took another 5-7 minutes to warm up the machine. This happened each and every time. An appointment that should have lasted 15-20 minutes took more like 35-40. You may want to keep that in mind when making an appointment with them. Overall I am pleased with the outcome. I do not have complete hair removal in the areas that were treated and may end up going back for maintenance visits but for the most part there is a true visable difference. A fairer haired person may have better results.
