Jones Floor Designs

We bought our 2700 Sq. Ft. home in Walnut Creek, in 1972. The hardwood floors were still in the ORIGINAL hardwood that was put in when the home was built in 1938.

With that being said, there was quite a bit of refinishing that needed to be done!! So, we attempted to TRY to do the work ourselves in the early 80's. We rented all of the necessary equipment and products to do our LIVING ROOM... BIG MISTAKE!! All told.... We spent more money in renting equipment and product , just trying to do our living room, then it would have cost us to have someone come in and do it Professionally. IT WAS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO AS EASY AS WE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE!!!!

Several years went by, and we just couldn't wait any longer to get these floors done..... AND THIS TIME.....WE WERE CALLING A PROFESSIONAL.....NO MATTER THE COST!! We decided that if we only had the money to do one room at a time, then that is what we would do!!!

We heard from a good friend, that Gary Jones was THE FLOOR GUY....That he was not only the BEST , but he was also EXTREMELY reasonable.

So, we had Gary come and give us our FREE estimate and were pleasantly surprised that we would actually be able to do the ENTIRE HOUSE for an AMAZING PRICE!!

And, I have to say...... The knowledge that Gary had (Even back in the mid 90's) was what CLOSED THE DEAL for us and what prompted us to have him refinish our floors!! He not only finished in a timely manner...... But, He deducted money from our total, for supplies that he ended up not using!!! NOW THAT IS INCREDIBLE AND UNEXPECTED, FOR SURE!!!

Since, We have had him back twice to do some CUSTOM INLAYS and a few TOUCH UPS (From where the dogs and kids had scratched and Marred the floors.)

Still with the times changing and with the cost of LABOR AND MATERIALS going up....He offered us an UNBEATABLE estimate like before.....And, we couldn't be any happier with his pricing and were ESPECIALLY impressed by the quality of work for what we were paying.....Thought it might be too good to be true..... But, were PLEASANTLY SURPRISED to see that even with the economy changing ,that he was still holding true to his EXTREMELY FAIR/COMPETITIVE PRICING AND OUTSTANDING WORK AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Our family has used Jones Floor Designs FOR MANY YEARS...... AND, we will continue to call on this company, as well as to refer EVERYONE we know that needs ANY floor work done !!

We've hired Jones Floor Designs to replace our floors in our last two homes and could not be happier with the finished products. They finished on schedule and stuck by their work. We would never hesitate to hire them for future work.
