Overall

Today was my first visit at the Anthony Animal Clinic, about a 45min drive, completely worth it. Dr. is very professional took the time to examine my pets pain, a week before i tried Mesa Veterinary Clinic very unprofessional and rude couldn't even explain in detail my dogs blood work result. So i brought my pets results to Anthony Animal Clinic and Dr. took the time to explain to me in detail everything. Staff is wonderful, definately my primary Veterinary from now on.

First Impressions

Today was my first occasion to take by "fur baby" Ben to the Anthony Animal Clinic. Dr. Kincade, his assistant, also named Ben, and the entire staff were very professional, kind and understanding to my concerns and my pets needs. It was a very positive experience and I would recommend them to fellow pet owners.

This vet saved my dog!

One Thursday, I took my dog to the vet clinic on Ft. Bliss military post to have his rabies vaccine. At the clinic the tech gave him his shot except he jumped right before she got all the medicine in. Therefore she gave him an entirely new vaccine. Vaccines are hard on a little puppy's immune system but an almost double dose is horrible! My dog started to get a little sick the next day, but I thought he would be okay. By Saturday night he was much worse. I called the emergency vet and asked them what to do. They said to take him in the next morning to Northeast clinic. Sunday morning I took him in and had the vet examine him. She did a parvo test, a fecal test and an x-ray. The parvo and fecal tests came out negative and the x-ray showed congestion in his lungs. She gave me two different antibiotics and a product called biosponge. I took the dog home and followed the vets instructions. The next morning (Monday) the dog puked everywhere. He wouldn't eat or drink. He refused to do anything except lay down. He seemed more sick then before I even took him to the northeast clinic. I was very worried but when I called the vet all they said they could do for him would be to give him a shot for nausea. I waited out the day to see if the dog would puke anymore but he didn't. He managed to hold some water down. I decided to see how he was over night and in the morning. The next morning he puked more. I knew I HAD to take him to the vet but I didn't think taking him back to Northeast clinic would be a good idea. I searched the internet for another vet and discovered Anthony Animal Clinic. I really wanted to take my puppy there because they treat the cause of illnesses not just symptoms . I took him there and the doctor did a blood test to see what was wrong with him. He discovered that the dog had bronchitis and severe vitamin deficiencies. The doctor gave my puppy a natural remedy to soothe his stomach and acupuncture to calm him. He also sent me home with two vitamins, a mild antibiotic and advice on how to reintroduce him to water and food. I followed the instructions of the vet just as he gave them to me. Within one hour my dog was walking around and taking small sips of water. Within 6 hours he was drinking and even eating a little. But even more exciting the dog was jumping around, playing and chasing bugs. The next day my puppy seemed perfectly well. I am still giving him the vitamins and antibiotics but he is back to his old self! Anthony Animal clinic cared for my pet much better and they only charged me 1/3 the cost of Northeast clinic.

I LOVE ANTHONY ANIMAL CLINIC!!!
