Poochi's Pet Salon

Poochi's is the best dog salon we have found so far. Martin, the owner, has made sure we are always satisfied with the services our dogs receive. We take them every 3-4 weeks.

I highly recommend Poochi's for grooming your dog. My dog, Libby, is a large breed and she absolutely loves seeing Martin and his team. I also use them for boarding her when I travel, which is frequently.

We have been taking our dog for grooming at Poochi’s for over a year. We always are more than satisfied. Martin takes great care of our rescued girl. We stopped using our vet for grooming and found Poochi’s to be reasonably priced.

Martin is a talented groomer who is extremely flexible and accommodating with his hours. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a groomer for their beloved pooch.

After looking at many negative reviews , I should have known better to not even attempt to go to this unprofessional so called place of a business !!! I tried calling several times to ask about bringing multiple
Dogs at a time and once phone was picked up , Martin was so rude and acted like he had no time for questions , do your self a favor and believe all the negative reviews about this place and it’s owner !!!

I have been going to this groomer for sometime now. They have always done a great job with both of my dogs. I have always been told how good they are. Saturday I dropped Khloe off to be groomed. When I went to pick her up Martin (that I’m not familiar with) told me that Khloe was very uncooperative and would not sit still for him. He then went on to tell me that he accidentally ripped off her dewclaw. He tried to assure me that she would be OK. He explained how he used glue to close the wound. I was blown away that this happened and no one bothered to call me and let me know. I would have liked to take her straight to the vet to be checked out. How do I know the wound was probably cleaned before he used his glue? It doesn’t sit right with me. My gut tells me she was mistreated. This makes me so sad for Khloe. I’m sure it was super painful. I did some research over the weekend and discovered that this guy has many complaints similar to mine. He has used his “glue” in many situations. We called to find a resolution and were met with anger and aggression. We will not be back!!!!!

I had the best experience I could not believe the price for the great help for caring for my old dogs. When I pull up my old dogs tail go waging. I then go shopping not thinking about my babies. I love bath day once a week. Thank you Charlie Schmidt

After a very bad experience at Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming in Apopka this past Sunday I took my 5lb and 5 month old yorkie mix to poochi's this morning, for grooming and nail clipping. Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming in Apopka told me that my dog was aggressive and after almost 2 hours could not be groomed. But we still needed to pay. I shared that info with the staff at poochi's. Being told that my puppy was this horrible dog, I was worried this was not going to go good so the ladies at poochi's asked me to stay. I watched three professional women groom my dog and clip her nails in less then 30min. Our puppy was not aggressive at all, she loved these ladies, licked there faces and we left stress free, owner and puppy. Thank you Ladies this separates the professionals from the amateurs. Right after the grooming from poochi's I took my puppy back to Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming in Apopka and asked for my money back. It was very unpleasant but in the end the owner gave me back my money. I will never go back there again. Thank you Poochi's! Our Zoe now has a safe and stress free place to be groomed.

I just called this place for a quote on having my dog groomed. The first two times I got hung up on before I could even talk. Third time I called two people answered at different times in the conversation. They do not seem very accommodating and will not do a santiary cut without having my dog washed. Once he figured out I was not booking an appointment he hung up on me for the 3rd time. Not a place I would want to bring my dog. The way I look at it is, would you get a color done with a new stylist before you see how they do cutting your hair? NO. So why would I let someone give my dog a full body cut and wash before testing them. Petsmart gave me my dog back smelling like mold. I do not want this again, and Poochies will not accommodate me at all.

We have been bringing our Yorkie Poo Lola here for about 3 years now. Every time we walk in she gets excited to be "pretty" The girls are always sweet and loving to Lola and they are the only groomers who are able to trim her nails without her freaking out! She always leaves with a pretty bow or bandana and a smile :)
