Sharon Plessl School of Dance

This is our first year at Miss Sharon's and my daughter and I were so pleased in the first few months she kept signing up for more classes.I have had my daughter in a few other studios, but nothing has come close to this one. The staff is fabulous and works great with the kids. I agree with the last review and I don't know what dancermom07 is even talking about. I can not wait to see the performance and hopefully many many more at Miss Sharon's!

Contrary to the previous review, I was completely satisfied with our experience at this establishment. I thought that my daughter has grown so much by this experience, not only through dance but she even came out of her shell and was not so dependant on me. She was so shy and I never thought that this would work but Sharon and her staff are so loving, caring and professional and the children see this and immediately adapt to the situation. She couldn't even wait until September to start again, so I signed her up for their summer program. I also want to say that the recital was a hit and I was also pleased with our experience at this event. Doesn't this person know that it isn't an easy task to pull something like this off and make it a GREAT SHOW. I think if you are looking for a dance school this is it. I guess for every few hundred satisfied customers you will always have just one disgruntled one. Again, I just want to say that I think this dance school is great and I would recommend it to anyone!

I sent my daughter here for this past season, and about halfway through the year, i started looking into other dance schools. The teachers are wonderful, but the business is poorly run. They are not organized, let the classes get too big, needed money every other week for some rediculous reason or another and accepted students as late as February. The dress rehearsals were a nightmare and all the staff was yelling at the parents, as well as the students. My daughter is only 4 years old and was kept waiting for over 45 minutes in line to practice her dance for the recital, although we were scolded when it took us too long to get them ready. i was very dissapointed in the overall experience for my daughter's first year of ballet. She learned next to nothing, and a portion of the class was spent learning to do tumbling and jump rope. If i wanted my daughter to learn that, i would have sent her to Parkettes. I am sad that it turned out this way, because my daughter adored her teachers, but i did not like the feeling that i wasted my money sending her there.
