Mount Vernon Nursing Center provides pharmacy services that include physician-ordered prescriptions filled round- the-clock in unit doses. Its nutrition therapy consists of preparation of individualized and special diets by nutrient content under the supervision of a registered dietician. The center offers a wide variety of activities to complement the therapeutic needs of each individual resident. In addition to the professional staff, it provides corps of volunteers to interact with residents in large and small groups and one-on-one settings.
