Giant Food

I visited Giant Store #777 on Telegraph on Saturday, June 5th at 2:20 PM. I ran in to pick up a few items for a gathering I was attending at a pool party. I had my items in my basket and was holding it in one hand and opening the mini beverage refrig at the front of the door for a cold water. The frig as in all Giants are located on a register line. The checker began opening the line for which I was standing. I asked if she was opening and started to the fron of the register to place my items on the belt. The Manager immediately rushed over and request that I move back and allow another customer standing in another line to go through the line with her cart of groceries first and I should get behind that customer, to be fair. I had 4 items in my basket which would have taken 3 minutes to checkout, I asked if I would just go through the register since I was there and only had a few items but he said "to be fair" I would need to walk to the back of the counter and get behind the other customer and wait to check out her full cart of groceries. I walked away to find another register and the Manager followed me and continued to embarrass me asking if I got the items I came in for and I reassured him that I had but he in an aggressive tone requested I go over to an unmanned register that someone would be there shortly. I shop this Giant all of the time and has never had such an experience. I left the store feeling unappreciated and affended.
