        The truth is that most companies care only about the money. Although MY Company never claims to BE the cheapest option. What I really care about is that moment when the work is done. The customer is thanking US. And everyone is standing back. Admiring what a good JOB we DID. To ME. None of the work is worth it unless we CAN have that experience. I'M especially thrilled when I RUN into an OLD customer and they are excited to tell ME about HOW happy they still are with everything. And HOW grateful they are for HOW hard we worked for them. When the Company reputation precedes US and total strangers insist upon using champion. I AM reminded of WHY I went into business for myself in the first place: I love serving others with MY passion for taking on and mastering large. Complex. And challenging tasks. To SAY I take pride in MY work is an understatement. MY work is MY pride. ​ if YOU have a tough JOB for ME. Just SIT back and watch.         Contacting this company was a nightmare. This is the most dishonest company I’ve ever dealt with.

        I made a huge mistake by looking up this contractor in the yellow pages and not simply asking around for someone reputable.

        I was selling my house, and wanted to see what minor repairs might get noticed by a home inspector and get an inspection report that the roof was in good shape. Aside from one missing shingle that I could see, the roof was fine.

        As I was already out of state, the agreement was made that someone would go to the house and call me when he got there so I could find out what repairs could be done.
        No one ever called.

        I called back several times, over two days, to talk to the guy that told me he would send someone over. He never returned any of my calls. When it was clear that guy was blowing me off, I insisted on talking to someone else and I cancelled.

        ONE WEEK LATER the guy that refused to return my calls finally called back. He obviously got the message as he was annoyed that I fired them. He told me that they went to the house without my knowledge and replaced ONE shingle tab. Outraged, I refused to pay.

        The owner of the company called me and told me that if I didn’t pay him $250 IMMEDIATLEY, he would put a lien on my house the next day and I wouldn’t be able to sell my house without having his lien removed.

        After I filled a complaint with Angie’s List and the TN Department of Consumer Affairs, Champion Roofing claimed that my roof was heavily hail damaged and needed to be replaced. Despite that, without calling me, the only thing they did was replace the one shingle and left. Champion Roofing also threatened “legal implications” for complaining to Angie’s List.

        In the end, two different home inspectors inspected the house and found that the only thing that needed to be repaired was old flashing around the vents.
