Solaire Apartments

This is an okay place to live. The apartments themselves are a bit smaller than others in the area, but they do offer nice loft-like floor plans. Parking usually isn't a problem either. The maintenance staff is pretty decent. They do take longer to fix things than other places I've lived, but they at least fix things right. Management is mostly good. They are friendly but often unresponsive to specific needs.



On the downside, the walls are paper-thin. You will hear your neighbors coughs, mumbled conversations, and every footstep above you. The doors are also spring-loaded and a lot of people do not close them softly. Just be prepared for your walls to rattle every time some one comes or goes. People here also seem to love loud cars and like to rev their engines all day long. This just creates more noise. They also drive through the parking lot like it's a drag strip (there are no speed bumps).



Honestly, the cons listed above are enough that I won't be renewing my lease.
