        Reserve Silica Corporation is a reliable supplier of quality silica sands, free of contaminants, and meeting the requirements of our unique customer base -- "The right sand for the right product." Reserve Silica Corporation owns 377 acres of land where it operates an open pit sand mine and processing plant near Ravensdale, Washington, about 30 miles southeast of Seattle. The operation has existed since the early 1970's. Our sand comes from a deposit laid down over 50 million years ago. It is mined by open pit methods and then transported approximately one mile to our processing plant.
