Primary Care
Dr. Norris graduated with honors from the University of Texas in Austin. She then earned optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. During this time, she became actively involved in a humanitarian organization that provided eye care and glasses to the underprivileged in Central America. Her optometry internships were completed at the Memphis VA Hospital and a private optometric practice in Mississippi. She then pursued an additional year of residency training in Primary Care Optometry at the Roseburg VA Medical Center in Roseburg, Oregon.

Ophthalmology

Macular Degeneration
Our doctors offer medical, routine, and complete eye exams. They are specially trained to look for glaucoma, diabetes, cataracts, macular degeneration, tumors, and other conditions affecting the eye, along with myopia, hyperopia and presbyopia, muscle balance and astigmatism.
Laser Eye Surgery
Dr. Richard (Ree-shard) screens for and treats glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetes affected vision, among other ophthalmological conditions. He also performs LASIK surgery. “I like it when I can help the patient appreciate the world a little more.”
Cataracts
During his time in the military, he had an opportunity to provide surgical care to injured service members and veterans, and to participate in humanitarian missions providing eye surgeries in Africa and South America. These experiences induced a deep appreciation as to the quality of care available in our country. Dr. Ludlow enjoys seeing patients of all ages for their acute or chronic eye diseases, and routine eye care. He has a particular interest in improving vision through treatment of cataracts and refractive surgery.

With hospital privileges in Albany, Lebanon and Corvallis, you’re able to work closely with our Surgery Coordinator to find a suitable date, time and location to meet your needs. Eye Exam
We recommend that those under the age of 18 or contact lens wearers have annual eye exams. For healthy eyes over the age of 18 we recommend an eye exam every two years. You will want to consult with your doctor during your exam to get his/her recommendation based on your individual needs.

At Eyecare Associates we recognize the unique needs of our low vision patients, including those who suffer from eye diseases such as macular degeneration, glaucoma or diabetic retinopathy. Many local optometrists, ophthalmologists and retinal specialists refer and entrust their patients to us for low vision care. The goal of a low vision exam is to help the patient better perform daily tasks such as reading the newspaper, watching TV or seeing their food on a plate. This is a particular area of interest to Dr. Jessica Norris who works closely with patients to determine the precise magnification and device that will benefit that particular patient. Our office carries many hand held and stand magnifiers as well as other low vison devices.

Our locations offer vision exams, LASIK evaluations and comprehensive eye health exams, as well as specialized testing. Our trained technicians can conduct your Visual Field, OCT, Fundus Photos, HRT, Flourescein Angiography, Pachymetry or Immersion A-Scan Ultrasound. We’re also proud to offer a full Dry Eye Clinic utilizing our Oculus Dry Eye Keratograph.
