Good Food - Quick Service

Great place to hang and have some really good food. The food has always been good and the service better. I would like to see them change the bread (which is some kind of Yankee cornbread I think) to something with real flavor. Jalapeño hush puppies or something like that. I can't say it's real down south barbeque but the combination of the food, service, location, and price always makes it a good eating out experience.

Hi there & thank you for the kind words about Jim 'N Nick's Alabaster. The "cheese biscuits" as we call them do not have any corn meal in them at all, but some others also think they do. They are a staple of our menu & a key component of enjoying Jim 'N Nick's BBQ in the Birmingham area. I couldn't say what would happen if we changed them, but I'm sure it wouldn't be pretty. Many thanks again!
