She transitioned from the mental health field and entered a clinical associate program through Moses Cone Hospital where she worked as a nursing assistant while gaining additional training as an EKG, respiratory, and phlebotomy technician. It was this setting that provided her clinical experience for the Physician Assistant profession. Carol graduated with honors from the Wake Forest University Physician Assistant Program in 1999 and has worked in Dermatology since then with several dermatologists who contributed to her medical and cosmetic foundation.

Internal Medicine
Dr. Tracie C. Bryson was born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with honors in Biology and a minor in history. She then attended East Carolina University School of Medicine where she graduated in 1998 in the top of her class and was a member of AOA Medical Honor Society. She completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, NC. She then moved to St. Louis, Missouri to complete three years as a Dermatology resident at Saint Louis University Hospital. During her final year of residency, she was honored as Chief Resident.

Mental Health
Carol Grabow, PA-C (formerly Carol Farroch) is an Ohio native and received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Bowling Green State University in 1987. She moved to North Carolina in 1988, initially serving as a mental health counselor while pursuing a Master’s Degree in Counseling at UNC-Greensboro. It was during her internship with the Cancer Patient Support Program at Baptist Hospital, that Carol realized her desire to practice medicine.

Wound Care
No special wound care is necessary. Leave the pressure bandage (which is on top of the steri-strips) in place and keep dry overnight, then remove the next morning, at which point the steri-strips may get wet, and you can shower or bathe normally. No antibiotic ointment is needed. Typically the steri-strips remain on until you return to the office to have your sutures removed, but if they peel off sooner, a band-aid may be worn over the biopsy site if desired.
Mohs Surgery
Mohs surgery is a specialized procedure for the removal of skin cancers, involving the precise removal and examination of layers of tissue until no cancerous cells remain, while preserving healthy tissue.
Reconstructive Surgery
The smallest wound: There is no guesswork involved in Mohs surgery. Your surgery can be tailored to your specific skin cancer. This allows your Mohs surgeon to remove all cancerous tissue while preserving as much normal skin as possible. This, combined with Dr. Lacy’s extensive training in reconstructive surgery, helps to achieve the most appealing cosmetic result.

Plastic Surgeons

Botox
As we age, we naturally lose facial subcutaneous fat which contributes to volume loss. Additionally, the mid face begins to descend which contributes to the nasolabial folds (folds that extend from the side of the nose to the corners of the mouth) and marionette lines (lines that extend from the corners of the mouth down to the chin area) becoming more prominent. Dermal or soft tissue fillers are used to fill lines and restore volume. These products work differently from botulinum toxin (Botox) which is designed to treat dynamic wrinkles (those caused by repeated muscle movement).
Liposuction
Kybella is a great option for people who have been self-conscious of their double chin for years, but were hesitant to undergo surgical treatments such as liposuction. It is non-invasive and has very little down time. Many Millennials and men are seeking out Kybella as a way to get the strong jaw line they’ve always wanted.
Lip Augmentation
Targeting wrinkles caused by a loss of volume with soft tissue fillers. This may include adding volume and filling specific lines. Fillers can also be used for lip augmentation and hand rejuvenation.
Body Contouring
Kat Williams a native of North Wilkesboro, NC and has been a licensed Aesthetician since 2013. Kat is also a certified laser technician and has a background providing treatments with laser hair removal, laser treatments for hyperpigmentation and vascular concerns, and body contouring. In addition, she provides medical aesthetic treatments which include microneedling, dermaplaning, chemical peels, Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) and facial treatments for specific concerns.

In August 2009, she joined Davie Dermatology, where she continues her effort to provide compassionate and effective care to patients. Acne Treatment

Eczema
Eczema is a skin condition that is common in children but can affect adults as well. Symptoms include dry, scaly patches on the skin, itchiness, rashes, skin thickening, and more. The symptoms of eczema vary from children to adults, and many children who have eczema as a child only experience mild symptoms as adults, if any. Eczema treatments cannot cure the skin condition, but make it more manageable. Treatments include medications, prescription skin care products, and lifestyle changes to prevent flare-ups or the condition from getting worse.
Lesions
Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) is a treatment which removes precancerous, and sometimes cancerous, skin lesions using blue light. A medicine is applied to your skin, and is allowed to absorb for a period of time while you wait in the office. We then expose the skin to a special light which destroys the precancerous or cancerous portions of the skin.
Chemical Peels
As we age, our hands often show signs of volume loss, thinning skin and brown spots. Chemical peels and/or laser treatments can improve the tone and texture of the skin. Radiesse, a soft tissue filler, can be used to add volume back to the hands. Radiesse is a special type of filler comprised of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres which fill the area being treated and stimulate the body to produce its own collagen. Radiesse can last from 1-2 years.

Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is a treatment which utilizes fine crystals to exfoliate the skin by removing superficial layers of dead skin. As we mature, the rate at which we make new skin cells slows down often creating a sallow or dull look to the skin. Microdermabrasion treatments can be used to remove these dull layers of skin to reveal a refreshed and brighter skin tone.
Psoriasis
Psoriasis is a chronic skin condition that cannot be cured, but can be controlled with proper treatment. There are a few different types of psoriasis that are characterized by different symptoms. In general, psoriasis causes reddish or silver coated, raised patches on the skin, red spots on the skin, pus-filled bumps, scaly patches of skin, and more. Psoriasis treatment can reduce the symptoms of the skin condition, topical Rx’s, systemic Rx’s, emollients, biologics, and light therapy.
