Dan Jonathan Gzesh, MD

I found out that the basically useless brain tumor I had had since birth (there are such things) had tripled in size and I was TERRIFIED....so at first I went to a Dr at Penn who is SUPPOSED to be the best. This Dr walks in the room and simply says "were just going to leave it there."....I had so many question and he answered them in an almost argumentative manner. It was awful. I didnt understand how he was going to leave this thing that was on a clear growth path (and it was bleeding out!) I left there MORE scared than I came in.

So I went to Dr Gzesh for a second opion. My oh my does bedside manner make a difference! He explained EVERYTHING in laymans terms, was so calming and straightforward. He answered every one of my questions without the slightest bit of impatience....and he created a follw-up regime to monitor the progress of my totally insignifacant bt for the rest of my life- just to make sure it STAYS insignificant! That other dr at Penn didnt think or care about what happened to me while I was sitting in front of him let alone after I walked out his office.

All in all Id say Dr Gzesh is an all around great guy, with quirky sense of humor (but YOU have to draw that out of him...) a friendly disposition and a FANTASTIC doctor.
