One of the most traumatic experiences in my life. I was hemorrhaging and came into the office on a Friday for a 11 am appt. I was so stressed out that I forgot my purse. I immediately told the receptionist this and she told me that she could not see me. I had been to the office several times and I was current with all of my bills and had a zero balance. She said I could not be seen unless I paid that day. So I tried calling my parents that were out of town for their credit card number and could not get them. I was to have surgery in the upcoming weeks. I asks to speak to the doctor as I thought she may understand that I needed to be seen as it was going into the weekend and I was concerned about my health. She walked back as though she was getting the doctor and came out and said she cannot see you. No one else was even waiting in the waiting room. Next thin I know, a police arrives and said he needed to escort me off the premises !!! I was not even being abrupt or anything was just desperate to be seen. He said that it was private property and that I had to leave. I called to complain on Monday and was told that the receptionist never even informed the doctor that I was there and I explained what happened. They said that the reprimanded the receptionist but sis not fire her. I am guessing that it was Friday and that she wanted to go home and had a friend cop come by to have me escorted off the property. Needless to say, I have never gone back and found a new doctor to perform my surgery.
