They provide low cost service with many people that are ungrateful. They are saving animals and providing an important service. Thank you.

Are they inexpensive? Sure. But their prices don't sway me enough to go back again. We've been taking our dog there since he was a puppy, at which point he looked like a lab, and they treated him like all the other dogs. Now that he's fully grown, and looks like the American Pit Bull Terrier that he actually is, they treat him like a monster.



When I visited today, there were no other dogs. He licked another person's hand, and started barking at him when he got spooked by something. The woman behind the counter yelled at me to not let him sniff other dogs, and then realized her mistake. She then ordered that I take him into a corner to get his shots(not the room where they do every other dog). I take him to the corner and the girl giving the shots demanded I bear hug him, hold him by the neck and "DO NOT let him turn his head towards me". She then asked me what breed he was, with a nasty look on her face.



I get it, my dog is large, and intimidating. I know they need to protect themselves.

But they could make it a little less obvious that they think my dog is evil because of his breed. I don't like being singled out because of how my dog looks.

I have three dogs that are very large and unfortunately are getting pretty old. Every year I take them to get their shots at the SPCA. Iam always so thankful that the girls there go out of their way to vaccinate them in my truck. There is no way that my husband or I could carry them in to the building cause we are gettin pretty old ourselves. Thank you SPCA for all the great work you do!!
