York Buffet

I will never visit this place again. The customer service is terrible and they only want to make the money and do whatever they can to save a dollar even if it includes terrible customer service. They were disrespectful and very rude to my friend's daughter. They told her daughter that she looked old and was not a ten year old and tried to make my friend show a birth certificate to prove her daughter was 10. They went on to laugh and giggle at her daughter and make her pay as an adult. What type of place is this?? Just to make money. This was rude and very embarrassing and totally unacceptable as a business to behave this way and treat a child this way!! My friends are very nice people and they are twins that are 10. They even showed them baby pictures to prove it and they still did not want to hear it. TERRIBLE SERVICE!

Also it was brought to my attention that an employee also writes positive comments on sites to trick customers to come to the restaurant.

I would suggest you avoid that place like the plague. It used to be a great place to eat, however today was the worst thing ever. Sure bad things happen from time to time but thats where great customer service comes in.



We were eating got through 1 plate each, when we went to go get a 2nd we noticed a little child(~4 - 5 years old) taking a crab/nut cracker poking the food with it. His father pulls him away and turn around the child goes back to poking the food. They take the cracker away so the child USES HIS FINGER!! 10 minutes later he grabs the spoon for the food and drops it on the floor and puts it back in the food. Needless to say we were done since they were there before us we had no idea what else that child has did to that place. Guess what happened next, yup charged full $30 to eat food that has whatever that kid put in it. This happened in the past with one of the older managers and he told me not to worry about paying since obvious I could not eat as much as I wanted.



TL;DR Stay away from York Buffet Grille & BBQ

This is simply the best place in town.

When you are hungry, looking for a variety of tasty food, here is where you will want to go! It simply cannot be beat! After church crowd you will need to check this out! Amazing value for Sunday afternoon dining.
