        Embee and Son is a wonderful company to work with - in every way! I contracted a total kitchen re-model, and it was complete, following a detailed schedule that the owner provided me upon the the beginning of the job - in three weeks. The demo team was fast & efficient, and the renovating began. The master carpenter was meticulous with his work, creating a kitchen that is beautiful as well as functional.From the planning with the in-store designer to completion with installation of cabinetry, lighting, flooring, plumbing and quartz countertops, the job is excellent and a totally satisfying experience. Also, the estimate/price provided at the beginning of the project was accurate, and the only increase was one which we added. Any other job for me? I'll be calling embee. LG, York, PA

        They were easy to work with at the store and gave good advice. The installation was the problem. They never called to confirm the time when they would be at the house for the installation. I finally called and said are they coming to install the carpet today? They arrived later in the morning. The carpet on the stairs was loose. The carpet did not reach the base-board at one spot. At another place I could pull the carpet up off the floor. They were stings attached to the carpet that would have gotten caught in the vacuum cleaner and possibly unravel the carpet. They said the carpet on the stairs could not be tighter because the stairs were unsafe and moved too much. They did not tell us about the stairs until we asked why the carpet was installed the way it was. They did fix our concerns as much as they could. We had questions about our bill. This is when they became short with us. They charged us an install fee for tile pieces that were not installed. They said this is standard
