Orthodontic treatment as an adult never crossed my mind until I was forced tohave it. I heard so many scary things about it from extrations of 4 permanentteeth, pains and discomfort after monthly adjustments for 2 years or so andthe painstaking task of keeping the retainers for an indefinite number of years.I was wrong. Dr. Conrad referred me to a reputable oral surgeon, Dr. Wolf,who extracted my 4 bicuspids like he was pulling baby teeth. My monthlyvisits were not traumatic at all and I was worked on by Dr. Conrad himself andnot his assistants. So watch out if you see an orthodontic office with a lot ofassistants that means that you will be seeing the orthodontist for only a fewseconds and the rest of the time the assistants will be doing the job. My treatmentwas done in about 2 years and a couple of months and now I am wearing retainersfor the past 3 years now without any problems whatsoever. Dr. Conrad and hisstaff are the most compassionate, gentle and honest team
