Crazy Tokyo Sushi

We had eaten here before with decent service and adequate food. On 12/26/12 5 of us went to dinner there for my sons birthday. They weren't all that busy and first we had to wait for them to clean a table that would seat 5. When we were seated there was a build up of spilt food on the floor that you had to step in to get to the table. When we turned in our sushi order the waitress had the audacity to comment "you order a lot of food". SO WHAT. We found this insulting and it doesn't matter that we are big eaters. The first problem is that our ediname beans NEVER came even though we asked for them right awa;y. We also never got a couple of other things that were on the order. During our meal the waitress NEVER came around to check on us to see if we needed more drinks or wanted something else. We had to waive our arms like little kids in school to get to attention so that we could get our drinks refilled. Then the bill came. My wife and I eat out quite a bit. We have never been to a resturant that charged an automatic tip of 18% for a party of 5. Party of 8 or more yes but not 5.The service we recieved WAS NOT WORTH ANYWHERE NEAR 18%. We had words with the staff and the two items that we did not receive were removed from the bill as was the 18% service charge.WE WILL NEVER EAT AT THIS DUMP AGAIN.They used to be pretty good but they have gone to "@#&* in a hand basket".

A bit smaller than the location on Topanga and Ventura, but just as amazing! I've taken my whole family and all my friends there and they are all hooked! Great prices (half-priced sushi menu), fun and friendly staff and really great tasting sushi. Best sushi place by far! Wish they'd open one in the north part of the Valley!
