In 2013 my roof developed a leak all the way down into my powder room on the first floor. Jose, GNS owner, came the same day to access the problem. It was raining and his crew could not repair the roof that day but he ensured that a large tarp was covering the area before he came back. After examining the roof, he discovered that the shingles had been improperly installed and advised I should have the roof replaced. I was not in a position to do that last year and only had the repair done. At his own expense he had a mold expert come in to assure that the rafters, where the rain was coming in and the studs, as well as adjacent walls were not a mold danger. The expert did several tests and determined that there was not a problem. Jose's crew was very professional, and efficient and left no trace that they had ever been there, aside from a leak proof roof section!

This year, 2014, I developed another leak in a different area and once again had Jose come in to look. He said he could another repair, but advised that I would be calling him regularly due to the original poor installation. After weighing the cost of repeat repairs and the cost of a new roof, and after Jose provided a detailed work list of all that he would do to replace the old roof, to include installation of air vents along the ridges of the multiple peaked roof (none had ever been installed!), installation of a master flow in the attic to help increase proper air circulation, installation of a life time collar pipe, new flashing and new downspouts (where none had been installed!) all with a life-time warranty, I decided to go with a new roof.

Jose checked in daily during the installation to see how the men were doing and if I had any questions. One of the many things that impressed me about Jose was that his concern for the safety of his men on such a pitched roof, came first over all else. I felt that if he was that meticulous about their welfare, he was likely going to be meticulous about his and their work, as well. My new roof is beautiful and all points of the contract were fulfilled perfectly. The men cleaned up all the debris and, once again, it looked as if no one had ever been working on the house. After completion, Jose came by to ensure my satisfaction. He is a wonderful, honest, and personable contractor and I will not hesitate to call upon him again when in need for any repairs, since he knows many tried and true contractors who have done work with him on other construction/repair projects.

Bad storm took off multiple shingles. Not only did they fix them missing shingles but the also fixed a rubber boot around an exhaust vent that was leaking as well.

Description Of Work: GNS replaced a section of roofing shingles that have blown off three times in four years. They inspected the entire roof and replaced some additional damaged shingles. Jose (GNS owner) realized that the problem stemmed from prevailing winds and improper installation of the original roof. He took extra steps to seal and glue each of the shingles in the affected area.

He performed the work the next day and sent pictures to me at work and described the repairs in detail. I purchased the warranty, knowing that I want a problem free roof and relationship for the benefit of my tenants.
