Excellent and beyond. I went in on Friday and they let me put about 10 pair aside so I could come back Saturday with my daughter. Saturday it took us only 10 minutes to narrow it down to "the" pair. They asked if I had insurance for frames which I do not. They wrote me up and I ended up with an $80.00 discount I was not expecting. When I asked why lady said it was 30% of lenses and 30% off frames. I was pleasantly shocked. There are not signs advertising a sale or any indication that they do this. So WOW!!! She told me they would be done by mid week. We left there about 10:45. At 12:50 I received a voice mail telling me my glasses were done. I actually called back as I thought there was a mistake. Nope. They were done. Never ever had a turn around like that for any service.

When I went in Friday to put a few pairs aside and gave them my broken glasses for their Lions Club box. When the guy looked at them he asked if he could fix would I like them back as a spare. I was not expecting as I had already been told they were unable to be repaired. I said sure if you want to try I'd appreciate it. Saturday morning they were fixed and there was NO charge.

They collect all old glasses, regardless of shape their in for the Lions Club. I had put out a call to my close friends and family to give me any glasses they may have just gathering dust in an old drawer around Christmastime. I got quite a few and dropped off. After this experience I will tell everybody I know how great they are and put out a call for any old glasses that I would be happy to deliver on their behalf. Sometimes it really takes very little effort to make a difference!


Karen's Optical has always been me go to place as their service, prices and family atmosphere have always been top shelf. Now I couldn't get any more impressed.

Best experience I have had in looking for a pair of glasses that WORK and look great too. The people are knowledgeable and experienced. I tried four other places and none of them were able to make lenses that allowed me to see properly. This is my first pair of progressive lenses, and the professionals at Karen Optical were able to steer me to the right kind of lens -- very important! -- and then they designed and cut the shape just for me!!! I thank all of you at Karen Optical every time I notice how wonderful it is to have glasses that fit and work perfectly!!!
