Very happy with the great service! Very honest and quick to get our furnace repaired. Doug is the only one that said our part was covered under warranty and we didn't even buy our furnace from them. Truly appreciate the honesty. They've got our business from now on.
The technicians were very nice and were willing to explain every little question I had. The prices were very reasonable. I recommend them highly!
After reading the reviews on Discount Heating I am happy I chose them. I had problems in my home with dust and poor comfort in my home. I had several companies come to my home so they could help me figure out what was going on. I was proposed everything from a new system to ripping out the existing ducting in my home and install new! I read up on duct sealing (AEROSEAL) and found Discount Heating. A service rep spoke to me on the phone in a way that I could understand so I had them come to my home. After a walk through in my home we went over some options and found that sealing the ductwork would probably help. So we had our ducts sealed the otherday. Can i tell you how much better our home is! We should have done this along time ago. Discount Heating showed me exactly how much was leaking and not getting into my rooms! Now alomost all of the air is getting actually into my rooms thus allowing a much higher level of comfort. (This is exactly what I was told to expect) My wife and I are so happy that our house is cooler with less dust and the AC runs less to do the same job. I am looking forward lower bills and a more comfortable home. We are VERY Happy we chose this company.

Provided by SuperpagesI just had a new Infinity Heating and Air system installed in my home and its AWSOME! The installers were clean and the work was to perfection. Discount followed up on the job after the install as they said they would. Discount set up all of my rebates as well as submitted my Carrier rebates for me too. I looked at other big box and electronics stores for a new system but I felt like I would just be a number and another notch on the cash register, if you know what I mean. Discount Heating gave the whole experience a personal flavor and overall a very positive experience. Great job and I'm happy.
We began the search for a new heating and cooling system. We had several heating people come out and we saw a big difference between them all, some price very high and some prices very low. We soon found that it wasn't all about the price. Steve from Discount Heating not only went over our system options he looked at our house and measured everything. We told him the same thing we told everybody else regarding the lack of comfort in our home. Steve identified the undersized ducting as well as a few other things the others did not. Steve showed us his NATE certification proving that he has the knowledge where others didn't. We had Discount Heating install our new system and we are so happy with the new Carrier Infinity system and the comfort it provides. We are very happy with our choice to go with Discount. We found Discount on Angies List, we were very imprerssed with their A+ ratings!
I have delt with many service and repair companies and I have to say that Discount Heating really exceeded my expectations. They were friendly, on time and up front. The people in the office answered all of my questions and were easy to speak to. The service man wore shoe covers, he explained what was what in the system plus he took the time to answer any questions that I had without any attitude. I liked that. We purchased a house recently and wanted to replace the aging furnace before the next Chicago winter. We had a recommendation for Discount Heating and called them for a quote. Expecting the process to be as stressful as buying the house, we are still astonished at how pleasant working with Discount is.
Discount’s incredible customer service starts the instant you call them; never once did we feel pressured or overwhelmed. Doug Granata explained all our options and answered every question with unfaltering patience and in-depth knowledge about cost, features, etc. To top it off, he didn't try to sell us more than we needed just to make a profit.
The crew arrived bright & early on installation day. They wasted no time, cut no corners and left our basement cleaner than it was when they started. We never expected such a seamless fusion of friendliness and professionalism, but for the Discount Heating & Cooling staff it seems like second nature.

I had my system serviced earlier in the year by another, much larger company and to my surprize, they didn't even call me back. Since I live in Wheeling, I stayed local and called Discount Heating since they are near me. Chris came out and fixed the Humidifier that was not level and leaking. After Chris leveled it out you could see that the water was fully soaking the entire humidifier filter. This explains what it has been so dry in my home. I am glad that they were straight up with me and that Chris fully explained things to me. Thank you

Provided by SuperpagesI am big on reviews and when I have a good experience I like to put it out there. I have had an ongoing problem with my heating furnace unit. Over the years I have had not one but several companies out to my home to fix it. Not very happy with my system, I finally had it. I was fed up, Yes another problem. I didn't want to throw really anymore money at the unit but I figured that I would give it one last shot. I called Discount Heating, they came out and took a look. It took awhile during the inspection which made me nervous, thinking the bill would be jacked up as a result. Discount did find the source of my whole problem, it was a clogged "A" coil! They cleaned it and now the airflow is better and my house is heating so much better I wish I called them right from the start. They will be the only ones for me. Don't waste your time calling the others like I did, call Discount!

Provided by SuperpagesJust wanted to let Discount Heating know that you guys are great! We had a problem with our air and another company tried to charge us big time. Before that company left my home I called Discount Heating to confirm the price of the repair given to me by another company while they were at my home. Discount gave me a price right from the start and it was about half of what was quoted although still a bit costly for me but Discount was still way less expensive. I called a local plumbing and heating company to come and fix it. They came out for a low price and tried to charge a very large price to fix it. Over $650.00!. Needless to say I had called another company. That company was Discount Heating. They were great over the phone, the tech. came out within 1 hour and they fixed it for a $160.00 dollars and gave her a Senior discount to boot. We really feel as though we have been treated fairly and that the other company was just trying to take advantage of an older person in need.
