10-Minute Oil Lube & Car Wash

I have been going to these guys since they opened, but lately they've really gone bad. The manufacturer recommends a 0W20 oil, and I want to use 5w20 instead. Not a lot of different in performance cold weather in Bergen County, NJ, and about $20.00 cheaper. They have done it for me for years, but when my daughter asked for it, they refused. Very sexist. Lots of mansplaining. Even though the receipt said we had refused the 0w20, it was installed, and we were charged the higher amount. I called the owner/manager, and he went on and on how they will only follow manufacturers recommendations. I then asked why their reminder cards and stickers always recommended 3000 miles, even when for my car the recommended oil change interval is 7500 miles. He mostly ignored that point.Bottom line, I asked if they would use the oil I asked for, and he said no. We will no longer be using this establishment.

These guys are the best. Today I was in to get an oil change...my tech was the most polite guy and the service was done in record time. As I was starting to leave...realized I had no brakes...the brake line snapped while I was there....thank God I was not actually driving. They were very helpful and had no problem with my car basically shutting down their one lane. Can't say enough good things about them....been going there for 20+ years and will continue to do so....gladly!!!

I will never go here again. According to my mechanic, they installed the oil filter incorrectly on my car and caused serious damage. They refuse to pay for the repairs and were nasty when I confronted them. Even after my mechanic explained to them that it was their fault, they refused to pay. Stay away.
