Open Mind, a Bilingual / Spanish Mental Health Counseling Center is located at the Weston Town Center since 1998. The center has been serving the West Broward community with a highly qualified staff of Mental Health professionals, who offer a personalized and integral treatment.Our goal is to enhance the mental and emotional well being, and promote optimal social functioning to individuals, children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. A member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, Mrs. Vilar works with couples experiencing difficulties to conceive.Mrs. Vilar is frequently guest speaker in Univision’s “Viva la Familia – Todobebe” and “Despierta America”, and she is a columnist for several magazines. Valeria Vilar counting with extensive experience in both Mental Health Counseling and Education fields, Mrs.Vilar is leading the Center.Mrs.Vilar is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Education professional. She is Certified Clinical Hynotherapist. Mrs.Vilar provides psychotherapeutic treatment to individuals (including children, adolescents, adults), families, couples and groups.Mrs.Vilar has experience as Guidance Counselor in several schools in the United States, and in Argentina. Mrs. Vilar also worked as University Professor in Argentina.
