Scottscape Tree Service

We hired Scottscape Tree Service after our neighbors used them. They were the lowest quote and most professional out of 4 quotes that I have gotten for removing our dead ash trees :( . The crew were polite and courteous.



They used there big crane to cut the trees down. It was nice being able to know from seeing my neighbors trees come down this way. It allowed the whole job go much faster than how long it had taken before when we had trees removed. 1 tree was growing through a deck and 1 tree was growing right next to our house. It was amazing to watch the crane work taking large pieces down piece by piece shoving whole parts of the tree into the grinder that shoots it into a dump truck. They used all hand signals and almost knew exactly what was going to happen next without them even saying a word. You can tell this is what these guys do all day. The crew cleaned up every little twig and blew away the sawdust from the street and driveway. Afterwards you couldn't even tell they were there besides the trees were gone :( .I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs large dead trees removed safely.

I called Scottscape Tree Service and ask for an estimate. They were out the next day. The estimator was nice and friendly and not pushy at all. He was very knowledgable of trees and seen that there was insect damage in 2 trees. I had the ash trees removed by Scottscape the next week. I could not even tell they were there after they left. They even hauled away a couple lawn garden bags I had away for free. The foreman was very nice and talked with me the whole time the job was going on explaining things.

We hired Scottscape after a recent storm to cut down a few trees, trim some others, and grind some stump. We wish we wouldn’t have. We received estimates from 4 other companies and Scottscape had the lowest quote.

We left multiple voicemails before being called back to confirm a work time. Even then they showed up 3 hours late, pushing the job into a 2nd day for a 4 hour project. They were very sloppy with their work. They put huge ruts in our front yard with their chipper (they didn’t mention that they’d be dragging it through our yard when they quoted us), dropped huge limbs on our shed denting the roof and knocking it off of the cinderblocks, left trash in our yard, and destroyed a sprinkler line and 1 sprinkler head with the stump grinder ($200 to fix, which they refused to pay). They also left the wood in huge pieces, many in excess of 3 ft long. The quote said they’d cut it at 16-20”. Now I have to rent/buy a chainsaw before I can split the wood. Learn from our mistake. Pay a little extra and save a bunch of hassle. Hire a different company.

This is a good company to use to have your trees removed or trimmed. They are honest about what needs to be done. Thanks guys

I got 4 estimates to remove my dead ash trees. There estimate was the last estimate I got and was the most reasonable. They cut the trees down using there crane. They also cleaned up very well. Good price and good service it doesn't get better than that!

I had to contact them multiple times for both the estimate, and to schedule an appointment for the work to be performed. They did not show or call to re-schedule and when I finally was able to contact them I was hung up on when inquiring about what was going on. I would gladly pay more for good service. NOT recommended!!

I had 2 trees removed. There price was a few hundred less than all other companies that I called. I appreciate how well they cleaned up. They couldn't have done a better job. Thanks

they came out and gave me an estimate a few days ago and they did the work today. there were no hidden charges and it did not cost me anymore than what they quoted me. they cleaned up very nice

we were in need on a tree that had a big limb that snapped off and was just dangling over our house. They worked into there schedule that day and removed it. Thank you!

I had a large beech tree break and blow down in the wind last week ago. Scott gave me an estimate the same day that I called him and they removed the tree and stump a couple days later. They cleaned everything up great!

scottscape tree was out at our house and did an excellent job with the storm damage that we had. There were broken limbs in our sugar maple. Would definitely recommend!

The company was prompt. Scott was very nice and up front about the health of our trees. I would recommend them to anyone that needed tree work.

Last year our guy did not show up to plow our parking lot. I found these guys and they were there in no time. They also do our lawn care and landscaping now and do a terrific job. Well recommended!
