It offers a range of fire prevention and suppression services. The agency provides various emergency medical care, transportation, hazardous material response and technical rescue services. Fire and Emergency Medical Services offers a range of fire safety education services to the general public. It also provides protection services for various special events, including demonstrations and presidential inaugurations. The agency also administers the Ride Along Operations Assessment Program. Fire and Emergency Medical Services offers a range of community outreach services, such as blood pressure screening, glucose checkup, home safety inspection and cardiopulmonary resuscitation training.
