Dental Examination
The first visit to our office might be scary for your children, but you can focus on it being an adventure, and being good for their teeth and their smile. Our dental team will help your child feel at ease while giving them a thorough oral examination.

Teeth Cleaning
Treatment for gum disease includes periodontal cleaning and the removal of plaque and tartar buildup. Periodontitis is treated by cleaning and infection removal methods called scaling and root planing. Scaling is the removal of tartar from the gum line. Root planing removes rough spots on the teeth that allow bacteria to collect. After treatment you might be prescribed medicated mouth rinses or antibiotics to control infection.
Dental Sealants
– You may want to consider dental sealants for your child’s teeth. A sealant is put on the surface of the teeth and helps to guard the teeth against decay by blocking out plaque. Brushing is still important even if your child has a sealant, but a sealant can provide extra protection and last for up to ten years.

Fillings
The need for dental fillings comes to most people at some point in their lives. Traditional metal fillings are unsightly, and they may even pose health and environmental hazards. While these fillings, called amalgam fillings, have been proven safe and have been used for years, they contain mercury, and many people prefer fillings without mercury. Natural or white composite fillings are not only mercury-free, but they look much better than silver fillings.
Veneers
One of the best ways to get a new, dazzling smile is with dental veneers. Veneers are a cosmetic treatment that can actually change the shape of your front teeth, fill gaps and give you a beautiful smile. A dental crown may be recommended by your dentist for several reasons. The tooth could be extremely damaged or discolored, the tooth could be weak and needs help being held together, or it may be a cosmetic decision.

A full mouth reconstruction is the process of replacing or repairing all of the teeth in your mouth. This happens when someone has either lost all of their natural teeth or has multiple serious problems involving all or most of their remaining teeth and replacing them is a more viable option than attempting to save them. Full mouth reconstruction can involve the placement of bridges, partial dentures or full dentures, implants, crowns or some combination of restorative procedures. A full mouth reconstruction could, for example, involve the placement of a dental bridge to replace most of the teeth while some others are not extracted but repaired with crowns.

Root canal therapy can remove dead tissue and replace it with material that allows the tooth to live again. A virtually dead tooth can be saved with root canal therapy and last for the rest of your life.

Dentures
Partial dentures are used when at least one tooth or more are still viable. The partial will be built around that tooth or teeth.

Dental Implants
Most dental implants consist of a metal base with a cylindrical segment sticking out of the gum and the artificial tooth that is fitted to the protruding metal section. The base acts as a root would and keeps the tooth firmly in place. To accomplish this, it is installed directly into the jaw bone.
