Gateau

Lora of Gateau was amazing to work with from start to finish for our sons first birthday cake. My husband and I took some ideas to her for a design and her creative brain kicked in and the next thing you know she came with an idea that pulled all of our son’s favorite things into one design. After being very patient with me through the design stage of the cake she was just as patient and helpful with selecting the cake flavor. This might sound like the easy part until after you taste her cakes, fillings, and icings you will understand why the selection process is so difficult.



Lora invited us to her open house so that we would be able to taste some of the flavors we were thinking of along with several others. In the middle of preparing for her open house she still managed to take the extra time to make a special plate of samples for us to accommodate my husband’s gluten free needs. That was just another example of the time and attention she gave us that was above and beyond.



Come the day of the party the cakes turned out great! We had so many compliments as his party about the design and taste. The gluten free cake was so good that you could not tell the difference from the regular cakes. I wish we would have known about Gateau when we got married for our wedding cake. Thank you again Lora for giving us a wonderful cake for our sons first birthday! It was great working with you and we will be sure to come back to you again for all of cake needs.
