The Harris School of Business in Voorhees NJ offers Dental Assistant Training, Medical Assistant Programs, Medical Billing & Coding, Multi Skill Health Technician and Surgical Technology programs. We were founded in 1959. Harris School of Business is an accredited school with a tradition of providing career-focused education to adults in the fields of allied health and business management. The Harris School of Business in Voorhees is housed in a comfortable setting that includes lecture classrooms; computer laboratories (with course required hardware and software); fully equipped clinical laboratories; a student lunchroom with vending machines and a student resource center. The campus comprises a library; study rooms and administrative offices including admissions and financial aid as well as Career Services in addition to classrooms. Programs Offered at this Location: Health Claims Specialist / Medical Billing and Coding - A health claims specialist works in medical billing and coding and prepares and submits while processing medical insurance claims. A health claims specialist might also investigate pending claims and resolve medical billing discrepancies. Professional Medical Assistant Programs- You will serve as the primary link between patients and their doctors. You will play a key role in helping medical practices run smoothly and have the option to work in a wide range of clinical settings. Multi-Skilled Health Technician - You could work in different clinical roles including nurse’s aide; phlebotomist or EKG technician. You will assist physicians with collecting and handling blood samples. You will interact with patients and be involved in various aspects of patient care. You might undertake administrative/clinical responsibilities. You would work with physicians; nurses; other health practitioners; administrators and office staff members. Surgical Technology Programs- You will work alongside surgeons; anesthetists; nurses and other surgery professionals inside the operating room. You’ll be setting up instruments and equipment; preparing patients for surgery and helping the surgical team throughout the process. Dental Assistant Training- You will be trained and prepared to assist dentists with exams; perform a variety of dental procedures including instrument preparation; conducting dental lab procedures and reception/office mgmt. procedures.
