Kahan, one of the top interventional pain doctors.

Surgery is rarely needed for hip bursitis. If you have exhausted all the nonsurgical treatments for hip bursitis we may recommend removal of the bursa. Hip bursitis surgery is done on an outpatient basis, and can be quite effective. We’ll conduct a thorough examination which may include an MRI or CT scan, and discuss the best treatment option for you.

Dr. Steinfeld completed his internship in General Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. After US Naval Flight Training at the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute, he spent three years as Flight Surgeon and Head of Aviation Medicine at Naval Air Station Key West. Dr. Steinfeld returned to the Mayo Clinic and completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery. He was then chosen to undertake a Clinical Fellowship in Knee Surgery with John Bartlett, MD, in Melbourne, Australia finishing in June 2001.

I am very happy with his sessions with Jacob. He is articulate,and informative and patent to both myself as well as my client your patient. He works the mucels needed to reach his potential. He gives him the workout that seams to be working for him. I have sat in on many sessions with several therapists o er the years I am very please with Vero Orthopedics. I however am surprises at the new rehab facility. I would have thought the floor space woulf be larger then the other the working floor space it about the same. Yes the windows and high ceiling and reception, lobby area give the Illusion of a larger. But actual work area seems ro be the same. That is unfortunate for emplyees as well as patients. With a full scehdual it will be as crammed as the other but noisier than the old facility. It is a beautiful building. In my opion it just needs adustments.

Orthopedic Surgery
Dr. DiLella completed his undergraduate studies at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He graduated cum laude with a degree in Psychology and was appointed to the Psi Chi honors fraternity. Dr. DiLella went on to earn his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed a rotating internship and residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Midwestern University/Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. His residency training included specialty rotations with highly renowned surgeons at the University of Chicago Hospitals and Northwestern Memorial Hospital. During his residency training, Dr. DiLella was selected for an AO Trauma Fellowship. This program allowed him to train with accomplished orthopedic surgeons at the Spital Davos in Davos, Switzerland.
Arthroscopy
Arthroscopic Repair – During arthroscopy, your surgeon inserts a small camera, called an arthroscope, into your shoulder joint. The camera displays pictures on a television screen, and your surgeon uses these images to guide miniature surgical instruments. Since arthroscope and surgical instruments are thin, your surgeon can use very small incisions as opposed to the larger incision needed for standard, open surgery. Arthroscopic repair is usually an outpatient procedure and is the least invasive method to repair a torn rotator cuff.

Knee arthroscopy is a surgical procedure orthopaedic surgeons use to visualize, diagnose, and treat problems inside your knee. In an arthroscopic knee examination, an orthopaedic surgeon makes small incisions in the patient’s skin and then inserts pencil-sized instruments that contain a small lens and lighting system to magnify and illuminate the structures inside the knee joint.
