Gunnebo Johnson Corporation has deep roots in the oilfield and the original equipment manufacture crane industries. It is a modern operation linked to Gunnebo Industrier AB in Sweden. Gunnebo Johnson s blocks and overhaul balls have helped some of the leading companies in the North American lifting industry. Its snatch blocks, specialty tackle and ForgeFab sheaves are used in some of the toughest applications. From specialty swivels in the ocean to blocks and sheaves in the Gulf of Mexico, Gunnebo Johnson products are used throughout the world. The company began in the 1930's in the oilfield tool manufacturing business. A line of wellheads bearing the famous Hinderliter name was developed, followed by the introduction of Johnson crane blocks. These lines were expanded with the addition of overhaul balls, wedge sockets, swivels, specialty blocks and a line of snatch blocks and sheaves. Gunnebo Johnson Corporation operates a facility in Tulsa, Okla.
