On 14 July 2014 the office of this dump posted notices on all floors of both buildings that from that date ALL outside doors would be locked 24/7 requiring a key to get in. This includes the handicapped access doors where they removed the automatic push-button door opening devices. I contacted the City of Tulsa human rights people who told Central Park doing that is ILLEGAL because it violates Title 3 of the ADA act - Central Park totally ignored several notices from the city. I contacted the Oklahoma Attorney General's office and they also said removing handicapped access is illegal so I filed an ADA complaint with the state as well as the U.S. Dept. of Justice, both of which are being reviewed. Also my wife who lives there for medical reasons says that the water goes off for hours several times a month, and the 40 year old elevators constantly break down and sometimes only ONE works in her building ! DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS DUMP!!

If I could give this place negative stars I would. This place is an absolute dump. I have been here for 6 weeks for business and to start, the "corporate rental" I was given is barely furnished and what is in it is filthy and complete junk from garage sales. The apartment was filthy when I moved in and had to be sprayed for cockroaches three times. The kitchen was equipped with one pot and one pan....that is it...for 6 weeks?! Had to beg to get enough basic utensils to cook. The paint in the shower and tub is flaking off in chunks, there was no door handle on the sliding glass door, and the carpet is old, disgusting, and in desperate need of being replaced. Oh and as an extra bonus, when I took the bedding off to clean the sheets, there was an enormous blood stain in the center of the bed and no mattress pad....so glad that was deemed an appropriate sleeping surface to give a paying customer. However, the piece de resistance is that the hot water has been turned off 7 times in the past 4 weeks and the last stint was for 6 days....yes, 6 DAYS of no hot showers, laundry, or dish washing. Once it was finally fixed it was on for two days before being turned off yet again today with little to no warning, thus, prompting this review. How the long term residents of this hell hole haven't full on revolted is beyond me. Stay FAR FAR away from this place!

The only reason this place gets one star is because the system won't allow you to give zero. I've been here for a six week stint on business --- the hot water has been turned off seven times so far during my stay, the last time for SIX DAYS, in the dead of winter. Had problems with my parking space because I inadvertantly parked in the wrong one --- they had two with the SAME NUMBER in the lot, and only after many calls to management and security, having the head of security walk me over to the spot and show me the one they thought I was supposed to be in, did I find the right one. They could care less that it was mismarked and certainly haven't corrected it. The apartment desperately needs remodeling and is missing towel racks, light fixtures, and basic items like cookware and sufficient bedding. The appliances are outdated and weren't good quality to begin with. The heat/AC is nothing more than a blower and dependent on the whims of the central office, so it is always too cold, even if the blower's turned all the way up. I have to leave on the bathroom heater to warm the place up. A colleague is staying a couple of floors above me in a place that looks like it was furnished from garage sales, and was filthy when she moved in. I don't know what the longterm units are like, but do yourself a favor and avoid renting short term here. It's a dump.

BEWARE.. ..if you want to rent...

BEWARE.. ..if you want to rent or buy at Central Park. Your rent or mortgage is not the only cost. There are 35+ fines that are policed. Fines start at $25 and go up to $25,000,000. Your friends and family car will be booted & towed if they stay longer that 2 hours for a visit.

These are old buildings, so there is not adequate heating and air conditioning. I am so cold in the winter that I use space heaters and my oven for extra heat. The carpets in the halls have not be replaced in at 12 years.

There is fighting and bickering between residents. There is so much drama - someone should write a book!

There has been an ineffective board for years and Central Park goes through managers like water. As a resident for over 10 years, I never know what to expect next. It just seems to just get worse and worse.

I read some of the comments. Some postings are from Owners who rent out their multiple properties, so they are just building it up for their own profit. There are special interest here.

Our services have been drastically reduced. It is no longer about quality for the resident. In fact, the residents have no voice. It just makes me very sad.

The economy and my finances keep me here or I would have left years ago.

Good luck to you.
