        James D. Cash M.D. was born and raised in Tulsa. After attending Stanford University, he returned for medical school at the University of Oklahoma. His practice is focused on treating conditions of the knee and shoulder, with a specific emphasis on arthroscopic surgery. Dr. Cash has been an instructor for numerous orthopedic seminars across the nation and his research has been published in a variety of medical journals. He is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. Dr. Cash and his wife of 25 years have four children. In his free time, he enjoys tennis, golf, water sports and hiking. His interest in sports led him to serve as Head Physician at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, and as team Physician for both Bixby and Jenks High Schools. He is the founding president of Orthopedic Surgical Hospital and is the president of the Oklahoma Surgical Hospital Foundation. He serves on the board of directors of the Tulsa County Medical Society.         Dr. Cash is copetent, easy to meet and work with.

        He put me at ease immediately with his comfortable manner. He explained well what my problem was and what we needed to do. No question of mine was treated as silly and he was eager to show and explain from the charts what was going on.

        Best in Oklahoma

        Dr. Cash is the best knee surgeon in Oklahoma! After years of suffering with knee pain after 2 ACL surgeries I finally have little to no pain. If I ever have to have my knee worked on again I know where I will be going. He actually cares how you are doing and takes the time to listen and you never feel rushed.
