Rincon Roofing

Bad experience with Rincon. They did a tear off of the back section of our flat roof home. they took out the existing foam banking and replaced it with a small cricket. The ponding is now a lake on our roof . They used hot tar which leaked into our garage. Very sloppy!
The white coating started peeling off after one week of completion.
They said they would come out and look at the problem, but never showed up or called back with information. I got on the roof and fixed it myself! I believe they used old wood or the existing wood that was on the roof for their convenience. My neighbors saw all my problems and shook their heads also! SAD EXPREINCE!!!!

Incredibly unprofessional experience with this contractor. I was closing on a house and needed to replace the roof for financing (203k). I received a bid (the highest cost of three bids) that appeared to be professional. However, when I decided to execute the bid, I had to pester them repeatedly to get any response. After getting the run around for 2 weeks they provided a revised (higher) bid; then I was told they acutally did not want the work as they couldn't handle 3-4 pages of paperwork.



I called the business immediately and tried to convince them to raise the bid further or if there were conditions they would accept for the work. The mentioned their jobs are regularly $250k - $500k and any paperwork or complications for a $7k-$8k job without immediate payment onsite when the job concludes isn't worth their time.



If you are a residential customer, avoid this contractor at all costs. Any job less than $250k is not worth their time.

My parents used Rincon roofing for their brand new house and told me to contact them when my roof had a minor leak. The estimate was in a timely manner, then things started going down hill. I called the office numerous times with no call back wanting to schedule my roof to get fixed. I finally decided that I am going to move on after about a week of trying to set up a time to have the broken tiles fixed. I called a few other companies and not only did they notice other issues with my roof that Rincon roofing never mentioned, they did a much better job explaining everything. At this point I was happy I parted my ways with Rincon roofing. Well this morning my door bell rings. I go to answer the door and to my surprise it is Rincon roofing here to fix my roof. I was very confused at this point because I never authorized them to fix it nor did they ever call me and tell me they were coming. All in all it was a terrible experience and was bummed to say the least because they have so many good reviews from the past (2+ years ago) I would not waste your time with this company.

This company (or at least one of its roofers) have no respect for you or your time. I scheduled an estimate, which was prompt and fair. One of the issues was a door needed to have some flashing placed under it before they could do the repair, so once that was scheduled, we called them back. I was informed we would get a call letting us know when they would be back out, but we did not, the roofer just showed up at the house when the door repair was starting. He looked at it and said he would be back at 1 pm. At 3:30 when he had not returned, I called him and he said "Oh, yeah, I'm caught up on another job and will be back on Monday at 8 AM." There was no regard for my work schedule, and no courtesy call to let me know his plans to return had changed. On Monday at 8:30, when he again had not arrived I called the office. I told them of the issues I was having and received an apology and was told that he would be here in an hour. When I asked why the roofer did not call to advise me he was running late and rather just left me hanging, I was told "He didn't think of it". Seems to reinforce the feeling that my time is simply not valued. When he finally did arrive the technician walked up to my door and asked "What's the problem?" I told him I would tell him exactly what I told the office and that I was upset because he had not demonstrated any respect for me or my time, to which he replied "I'm goona go, I'll be back." I said "You aren't going to listen to why I'm upset?" To which he responded "Do I have to?" Needless to say it was not pretty, and I informed him I did not want him returning to my home but that another worker would be fine. He then called his office and told them I was "Crazy as hell," hung up and told me that he was not going to do the job. Well, I could have told him that. If you enjoy being treated as though you and your time are the most unimportant things in the world, or you relish in a little ignorant man being flippant and disrespectful to your face, this is the company for you. If, however, you have a scintilla of self-respect: stay far, far away.

Glad I decided to call Rincon Roofing! They did a great job on my roof. The last company who worked on my roof years ago did a good job but it was obvious Rincon did a better one.

We called them for an emergency repair on a home I own in the area and they did a great job. Working with us over the phone and my tenants in person, they accomplished things in record time and did a great job to boot!

The roof from a few years ago has held up well and we are completely satisfied. It has held up through lots of weather and we are sure it will last for a lot longer.

From the bids I received they had a good overall cost and I had heard good things about them. They met all of my expectations and more. I appreciate their hard work, tight schedule and sticking to the bid. Thats a good contractor to me.

My roof has been needing more and more attention over the last few years so I decided it needed to go. Rincon was one of the last companies that came out for a repair and we liked them and their work. We are very happy with the new roof and I dont think I will need another roofer for about 20 years or so. I hope theyre still around then.

They were nice to deal with during the installation last summer. Since then it has had no problems and looks great. Just like it did on day 1.

The recent rain made it clear that I was in need of a roofer. They were able to take care of me and get the roof fixed in no time. I appreciate all the fast professional service and the repair seems to be holding well.
