Golden Nugget

The Golden Nugget is my favorite bar in Tucson. The drinks are always reasonably priced, not to mention nice and strong. They have an excellent bottled beer selection, but if you're at the Nug I recommend going for a cocktail. The bartenders may seem a little rough around the edges, but they're good people. They don't have a blender, so no frozen margaritas or whatever. They have sandwiches and bar snacks like peanuts and beef jerky. Two more bits of advice: they only take cash (but there is an atm in the corner) and there aren't really any drink specials, especially not at night, but with their prices, it's easy to see why. I think there's some kind of happy hour, but I really never get there early enough to check it out. Once you experience the Golden Nugget you'll be spoiled by the quality of the drinks and the prices.
