Bill came to rescue us from 2 interior window casements that had deteriorated, one from a leak and one from aggressive termites. He rebuilt both casements, replaced interior wood that was damaged, worked with our termite people to treat the new wood, textured and repainted flawlessly. Will always call American Handyman for help when we need it! Thanks, Bill, for a great job!!

After trying to deal with some other companies I finally found American Handyman Service through Thumbtack. What a relief it was to deal with a professional company instead of the inferior companies that fail to show up, give you a bid or just are rude and incompetent. I dealt with Herb and Eric and they were wonderful from the very beginning. They came out the same day that I called them and had a bid to me within hours. The work performed was outstanding and I was very satisfied with the quality and price. The company cleaned up their mess and left everything tip top. I highly recommend this company and will use them for all my project needs. Trust me, you can't go wrong.

Lots of odds and ends carpentry jobs, doors that needed to trimmed, drawers that didn't work, hinges that needed to be replaced, all skillfully done effectively and quickly by Robert. I highly recommend this service.

My house had some pretty bad stucco holes and a lot of cracks that needed patching. I showed CHUCK the parts I wanted patched/fixed and he just went right to it. He finished even before the time he quoted me. When I went outside to assess the job. He went above and beyond what I asked him to do and overly exceeded my expectations. He did great work. I am glad he gave me some business cards so I could recommend them to other people. Very reasonable price!

My wife's garden tub cold water valve broke(Sunday morning), I know a little about construction so I took a look under it to see what I would have to do. It was that plastic pipe. Every one in the house was upset that we would not have water until Monday. We called American Handyman, in know time at all they replaced the valve and cleaned up after them self's. From this point forward his business card hangs in my garage.

These guys are awesome. Friendly, professional, reliable, excellent quality work at a great price. Chad and his helper Bruce replaced the fascia boards on my townhouse this week in about 5 hours. The work is beautiful. The workers are friendly and know what they are doing. I will be calling them again when I need home repairs. Thank you American Handyman!!

We just bought our first home a few months ago and the front door had some major issues. It wasn't stained on the bottom, so it would uptake water and as a result, had warped into more of a potato chip shape. It also wouldn't close properly, had improperly installed hardware, and didn't have weather sealing or a threshold. We bought a new door from Lowes, but needed to have it trimmed, installed, and varnished. Furthermore, we had a lot of questions about other things we may need done around our house. American Handyman Service sent out Chris this morning, and he was absolutely AMAZING! He took all the time needed to trim, install and varnish our new door, as well as to answer all of the questions we had about other things we've noticed around the house. Chris was very professional, personable, and great to work with. We will definitely hire this company again to help us with additional projects around our home! Unfortunately American Handyman Service cannot guarantee how someone treats their furniture. We did not design or build the furniture and at some point even the best quality product will fail. American Handyman Service did not provide any type of warranty on said repairs.

Dreadful customer service. They did a very dangerous repair and I was told in the most shameful way that because it was not their original product they would not guarantee their work. A few months after being put up the 2 five foot glass doors that they installed came crashing down narrowly missing my playing children and leaving large and small broken shards of glass all over my family room. All's fine with them as long as there are no problems. Do not expect any responsibility if things go wrong. Must to avoid.

We had to repair some damaged dry wall in our ceiling and some base moulding.

Herb sent Matt, our service handyman, who was friendly and did an excellent job with efficiency and expertise. This was a very good experience for us- as it was a first time using a service like this.

Herb responded quickly to my call for assistance in getting some repair work done to my porch ceiling and a number of stucco roof scuppers. The technician (Kevin) was out within a few days and did excellent work, even pointing out some original-construction errors that contributed to the current problems and figuring out a better way to repair the scuppers (which he showed to me and received my authorization to complete.) I was very pleased with the professional manner in which I was treated and the obvious desire by both Herb and Kevin to ensure I was happy with the work done.

They exceeded our expectations!! They visited and gave a free & reasonable estimate for our fascia repair. The work was done quickly and with expert craftsmanship and they left absolutely no mess!! We are very pleased with their great professionalism!! Thanks!

We got into a home remoldeling project that was just never ending. We had windows and light fixtures to replace, kitchen cabinets to install; along with countertops, including the sink and hardware. We had also started scraping the bathroom ceiling free of the old popcorn texture, but had not finished. We had bought most of the materials, had it stacked in different areas of our home, but the only progress we noticed was the gathering dust. We called AMERICAN HANDYMAN SERVICE and they came out fast! Herb and his crew are efficient and professional. Their workmanship is next to none. With their positive attitude and diligent work ethic, all our projects & clean-up were finished in amazing time! Their prices are GREAT and we recommend them for all your fix-it jobs! We have used American Handyman Service for years. They always shows up on time, do very good work at all of the jobs, and they are courteous, and clean the work site up well after the job is complete.
